Behold, an adventure from behind the camera of Avi Garvin, (popularly known as Madame Gnome) a behind-the-scenes account of her journey with the band traveling to a show at the Whiskey Barrel Saloon all the way in Rockfalls, IL! Avi was visiting me from even further away in California. Her visit was casual, and blogging style very stripped down and personal. She documented the evening from start to finish, experiencing all the ins and outs of a show load in, set up, sound check, actual performance and all that fun stuff peppered in between!

Reading about the suburban cowboys instantly threw me back to the summer I spent with my aunt in a small town just outside the city. We lived in a modest house on a cul‑de‑sac, but the real excitement happened on the nearby horse‑riding trail that snaked through fields and old barns.
